Connex Education work with a number of schools and provisions within Northwich and Winsford, and we are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to join our Connex team to work within our schools on a full-time, long term basis, providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEND

As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs. You will work closely with the school’s SEND team and liaise with the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) to implement Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs). The role involves working in small groups and providing 1:1 support to ensure pupils’ needs are met.

You will join a supportive team of SEND Teachers and Teaching Assistants, committed to fostering a positive learning experience for all pupils.

  • Relevant qualification in SEND or Teaching and Learning (desirable).

  • Experience supporting pupils in a school or similar setting.

  • Confidence working with small groups or 1:1.

  • Good knowledge of different types of Special Educational Needs.

  • A current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex.

  • Full-time roles, Monday to Friday.

  • Working hours: Between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM (depending on the school).

  • Both short term and long-term roles available., * Competitive weekly pay.
