Connex Education is working with a network of welcoming primary schools across Derby City Centre and surrounding areas who are seeking reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils in the classroom on a flexible, day-to-day and short-term basis. The role involves supporting classroom activities, working one-to-one or with small groups, and assisting teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Assignment Details

Roles are available immediately, with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability. Assignments may include day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, depending on availability and school need.

Person Specification

  • Recent UK-based experience supporting pupils in a primary school or similar education setting
  • Confident supporting learning activities on a one-to-one or small-group basis
  • Patient, flexible, and strong communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
