Role: 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Across Wirral

Salary: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Working Hours: full time and part time, Monday–Friday

Start date: September 2026

About the Role

Connex Education is working with a range of schools across Merseyside, who are seeking a part‑time and full‑time SEND Teaching Assistant to support an EYFS pupil with complex needs. You will be working alongside another TA to support this pupil. To succeed in this role, you will have experience supporting children with SEND and a calm and patient approach.

Assignment Details

This is a part‑time/full time position from Monday to Friday, starting on 1st September 2026.

Person Specification

Qualifications
  • GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
