About the Role
Due to a massive increase in demand and growth, Connex Education are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our agency to help support schools across the Merseyside area. We are working in partnership with fantastic local primary schools looking for support staff to join their dedicated teams across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Some of the areas we have currently in high demand are South Liverpool (Wavertree/Smithdown/Woolton), Huyton, Halewood, Kirkby, and all of the St Helens area.
Assignment Details
- Positions available on a full-time or part-time basis, with immediate starts.

Person Specification
Qualifications- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
- Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff to support teaching & learning.
- Upholds high standards of professional behaviour, presentation, and integrity.
- Committed to maintaining consistency in learning and behaviour expectations.
- Open to professional development and constructive feedback.
- Demonstrates strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Works collaboratively within classroom routines, showing initiative and professionalism.
