About the role

Connex Education are working with a number of mainstream primary schools based around the Middlesbrough Area who are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work full time within the schools. We are seeking Teaching Assistants who are specialised in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and also 1:1 to apply as we have a variation of roles upcoming in the new academic year. You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.

About the school

This primary schools we work with are welcoming and you will be supported by a lovely team of teaching staff, other teaching assistants and you will be responsible for assisting the teachers and supporting the pupils in the classroom.

Assignment Details

These roles are offering a September start working predominately Monday – Friday which means you must be able to work on a full time basis. A level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification is essential for this role.

Person Specification

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Degree – essential
  • Have experience of supporting pupils in a primary environment
  • Be confident working with small groups
  • Good Knowledge of Additional Needs and knowledge of either EYFS/KS1/KS2 Curriculum
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
