Overview
Design & Technology Teacher (QTS) – Swindon area. Salary: £150 – £300 per day, depending on the role, with Weekly PAYE pay. Start Date: September 2026.
We are seeking passionate Design & Technology Teachers to inspire creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving in secondary schools across Swindon and surrounding areas from September 2026.
Flexible long-term and short-term opportunities are available for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
Teachers should be confident delivering lessons across a range of D&T disciplines.
These supply roles offer the opportunity to work in multiple schools while helping students develop practical skills and a love for design, across subjects such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, Food Technology, Textiles, and other D&T specialisms.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teach flexibly across a range of Design & Technology subjects where required.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment, ensuring high standards of behaviour and workshop safety.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
- Inspire creativity, innovation, and confidence through practical and theoretical learning experiences.

Person Specification
