About the Role
Are you a final-year Primary Education student or newly qualified teacher ready to take the first step in your teaching career? Due to an increase in demand, Connex Education is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our team in primary schools across the Wythenshawe, Sale and Stockport areas full time 5 days a week. Whether you’re finishing your PGCE, School Direct, or SCITT programme this summer, or have recently been awarded QTS, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a variety of schools while receiving genuine flexibility, support, and a dedicated consultant by your side as you begin your career.
Assignment Details
- Long Term supply cover — ideal for building confidence and getting to know different schools.
- PPA cover for full and half days.
- Part-time and job-share bookings.
- Full-time teaching bookings to cover sickness, maternity, and long-term absence.

Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS — final-year trainees are very welcome to apply.
- Experience teaching in primary schools (placements count).
- Good working knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
- Current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through Connex.
