About the Role:

8.30 until 3.30 Day to day and long term supply needs.
Support children with complex needs.
Skills required: Trachea theory and practical, Moving and Handling theory and practical, Jejunostomy pump, Gastronomy button, and VNS.
Age range: 3-18 year olds.
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups to enhance learning.
Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment.
Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom organization.
Supporting children with additional learning needs where required.

Person Specification:

A L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or exceptional relatable experience of working as a Teaching Assistant.
Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms.
Full enhanced DBS certificate.
Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process.
The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a Teaching Assistant.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong rapport building skills, with pupils and co-workers.
A minimum of 2 school-based references.
