This is a specialist SEN school in Spilsby who have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in their last report. The school is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to help the pupils with their communication and independence. All pupils who attend this school have a thoughtful EHCP and staff feel confident in supporting everyone with their individual needs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Having GCSE grade C or above at Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with SEND pupils and ability to demonstrate an understanding of SEND requirements or worked in care with vulnerable adults or challenging behaviour.
  • Have a good understanding of positive behaviour support and how to regulate behaviours which may challenge.
  • Full enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process.
  • The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant.
