We are recruiting for a School Caretaker to join a friendly and supportive specialist school in Knowle that works with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining buildings and grounds, and is looking for a rewarding role within a school setting.
What You'll Receive- £14.26 - £15.00 per hour
- Part time role - 3 days per week
- Thursday and Friday fixed working days
- Additional working day agreed with the successful candidate
- School hours - 8:30am to 3:30pm
- Supportive and welcoming school environment
- Immediate and September starts considered
- Opening and securing the school site
- General maintenance and repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Basic handyman duties
- Ensuring the school grounds are tidy and safe
- Carrying out routine health and safety checks
- Reporting and monitoring maintenance issues
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
- Previous caretaker, site supervisor, facilities, maintenance, handyman or similar experience
- Good DIY and repair skills
- Reliable and trustworthy approach
