Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or Sports Coach looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We are recruiting for a specialist primary school in the Knowle area that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where staff work together to help children build confidence, develop positive relationships, and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom. What you'll be doing:
- Supporting children with SEMH needs throughout the school day
- Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Helping children regulate their emotions and behaviour
- Supporting learning within the classroom and during interventions
- Promoting engagement, confidence, and independence
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to achieve positive outcomes
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH, SEND, or additional needs
- Backgrounds in youth work, support work, residential care, coaching, education, or mentoring are highly welcomed
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A calm, positive, and resilient approach
- Team Teach training is advantageous but not essential

Important: The school is located in a semi-rural area of Knowle and can be difficult to access via public transport.
