About the Role
Connex Education / Supply Pool is recruiting Classroom Support staff to work in partnership with a school in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in SEND in education supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This role can be a temp to perm role for the right candidates.

The partner school supports a wide range of pupils facing behavioural challenges, including those with:
- ASC/ADHD
- Attachment difficulties
- Trauma backgrounds
- Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

What You’ll Need
- Previous experience working with challenging behaviour in a school, youth work, or similar education/care setting
- Ability to implement de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour management strategies
- Confidence and composure when managing difficult situations
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- Calm, empathetic, and solution-focused attitude
- Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
- Proof of right to work in the UK (required to apply)
