Connex Education is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing Middlesbrough team, taking over a hot education recruitment desk with active schools, established client relationships, regular bookings and immediate earning potential from day one. This isn't a desk you'll need to build from scratch. You'll inherit existing business while having huge scope to develop new partnerships, increase market share and significantly grow your earnings.

The Role
You'll manage and grow an established SEND recruitment desk, partnering with schools and Multi-Academy Trusts across the North East. Your responsibilities will include:
- Growing revenue across an already successful desk
- Developing existing client relationships while winning new business
- Recruiting and placing high-quality Teachers, Teaching Assistants and SEND professionals
- Becoming the trusted recruitment partner for your schools
- Delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement
This is a role for someone who enjoys picking up the phone, building relationships, creating opportunities and exceeding targets.
About You
You'll thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and have the drive to build a successful desk. You'll ideally have:
- Recruitment, business development or B2B sales experience
- A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Confidence building relationships with decision makers
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Commercial awareness and a competitive mindset
- High levels of resilience, motivation and ambition
- Excellent organisation and time management
Education recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential. We value attitude, drive and a winning mentality above all else.
