About the role

Connex Education is working with a specialist SEN school based in Newark on Trent, the school is a small school with only 31 pupils but the school is looking to expand for next year. The school is looking for people who classroom experienced does not matter if this is in Primary or Secondary schools or SEN just need to have classroom experience. The school will not consider anyone who does not have classroom experience. The role is temp to perm.

The School has pupils from the ages to 5 to 18, working with various learning disabilities. The school doe deal with challenging behaviour but more verbal than physical.

The Role will be working Monday to Friday, with the working hours of 8.30 until 4pm these hours are non-negotiable and must be able to work full time. It is also an advantage if you can drive due to the location of the school.

Person Specification

• Have experience of supporting pupils with in mainstream or SEN setting
• Strive for excellence and go the extra mile!
• Be willing to provide personal care
• Be confident in working with challenging behaviour
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
• Being able to commute to Newark On Trent
