Connex Education are currently working very closely with a great school in Newark who will be looking for a higher level teaching assistant to join the team, supporting a SEN pupil. Experience with ADHD and challenging behaviour is highly desirable for this post.

Have some experience working with young people with SEND in either a school setting or a similar environment

Be confident in your ability to support students with varied needs and/or challenging behaviours

Hold strong communication skills both orally and written.

Able to follow EHCP and care/learning plans effectively if needed too (not essential)

Willing to undergo continual professional training.
