As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in helping our students achieve their personal best in a supportive, caring, and dynamic setting. Connex Education are currently recruiting for qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support in a Special Educational Needs Primary School. In this exciting role, you will be working closely with students with mixed age groups across KS1 and KS2 and varied needs and abilities who need a little extra support, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Role Requirements

  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students would be desirable.
  • Team Teach trained would also be desirable.
  • Previous experience working in education is essential.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom.
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
