Connex Education is seeking an exceptional and passionate SEN QTS Tutor to join a dedicated team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students, working collaboratively with support staff, families and external agencies to ensure every child receives the individualised education they deserve.

They provide a varied curriculum tailored to help each child achieve individual goals. As a SEND Tutor you’ll work in an engaging environment supporting both academic development and social‑emotional growth, helping students become respectful community members. The role requires a hardworking, resilient educator committed to making a positive impact on vulnerable children’s lives through personalised learning approaches.
Assignment Details
- Full‑time position starting January 2026 providing 1:1 academic support to looked‑after students.
- Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑4pm.
Essential requirements:
- Comfort and experience working with young people who have varied special educational needs, particularly SEND/SEMH.
- Expertise in supporting vulnerable students with diverse learning challenges through individualised teaching approaches.

As a successful SEND Teacher with Connex Education Partnership, you will possess:
- Hold a QTS Qualification
- Experience working with individuals with SEN
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Confidence in your behaviour management skills
- Calm, resilient and able to communicate well with young people
- Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one through Connex
- Ability to show proof of work in the UK
- Willingness to travel between schools to provide onsite teaching support if needed
