Assignment Details

  • This is a full-time, long-term position (32.5 hours per week, term time only).
  • As the successful candidate, you will undertake the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher, including planning, preparation, assessment, marking, attending departmental meetings and delivering the full teaching timetable.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Recent experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Good subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • The Right to Work in the UK
