Connex Education is recruiting for EYFS Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible agency basis across a range of primary schools in the Redcar area from January.
We work with a variety of primary schools that cater for children in their early years, providing stimulating learning environments. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children in Nursery and Reception classes, helping them develop key skills through play-based learning and structured activities. All schools within our network are committed to providing young learners with a nurturing and engaging early years’ experience.
We are looking for EYFS Teaching Assistants who are passionate about early childhood education, understand child development, and who want to make a positive impact during these crucial formative years.
Assignment Details
These are flexible agency positions offering you the choice of full-time, part-time or day‑to‑day supply work to suit your availability and lifestyle needs.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Experience working with EYFS children and/or relevant EYFS qualifications (Level 2/3 Early Years or equivalent).
- Knowledge of EYFS framework and child development stages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a DBS on update service or willing to apply for one.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage young children in learning.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different school settings.
- Good organization and multitasking abilities.
