About the Role

  • Full time role starting role starting as soon as possible with a high possibility it last for the full academic year.
  • Monday to Friday
  • Full academic year
  • The primary responsibility will to be 1:1 with a child, butthere may be occasions where you will be asked to help with other pupils with differing needs.
  • The child needing support has a neurological and developmental disorder and communicates using an eye-gaze communication system.

They have significant mobility needs and require physical support throughout the school day.

  • The pupil also experiences seizures, has an EHCP and will work closely with the SENCO on the child’s daily required support.

Person Specification

  • To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
  • A L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or exceptional relatable experience of working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience of working as a teaching Assistant in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms.
  • Full enhanced DBS certificate.
