Psychology Graduate – SEND Teaching Assistant – Sheffield

Salary: £90 - £95 per day depending on experience

Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

About the School

Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Sheffield who are recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work as a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. The school caters for ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, MLD and ASC pupils of all ages. This could be a temp to perm if you are the right candidate.

About the Role

  • Provide guidance and support to individuals in a mentoring relationship.
  • Help pupils set and achieve personal and academic goals.
  • Share knowledge and expertise in a specific field or area of interest.
  • Assist pupils in developing new skills and overcoming challenges.
  • Act as a role model and provide positive reinforcement to pupils.
  • Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with a range of pupils.
