Psychology Graduate – SEND Teaching Assistant

£90 -£95 per day depending on experience
Hours – 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday

About the School
Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Sheffield who are recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work as a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. This could be a temp to perm if you are the right candidate. The school caters for ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, MLD and ASC pupils for all ages.
About the Role
- Provide guidance and support to individuals in a mentoring relationship.
- Help pupils set and achieve personal and academic goals.
- Share knowledge and expertise in a specific field or area of interest.
- Assist pupils in developing new skills and overcoming challenges.
- Act as a role model and provide positive reinforcement to pupils.
- Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with a range of pupils.
You will Need:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
