About the Role

Connex Education is currently recruiting for a confident and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. This role involves covering lessons across all year groups from EYFS through to KS2. All lessons will be pre-planned by the school, so your focus will be on delivering engaging sessions and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Maintain strong classroom management and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school
  • Adapt confidently to different year groups and classroom settings
  • Uphold school behaviour policies and ensure consistency across classes

Role Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Careers Teacher (ECT / NQT)
  • Experience teaching across the primary age range (EYFS – KS2 desirable)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Adaptable and confident covering different year groups
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
