About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bootle area to recruit a committed and adaptable EYFS / KS1 Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in May 2026. The school has yet to decide finally year group but will be based in either Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, so flexibility across these year groups is essential. This is a full-time role offering scale pay from day one within a supportive and well-resourced setting.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have recent and relevant experience teaching in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons across EYFS and KS1
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be adaptable, proactive and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills

Requirements:
