About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Willington (DE65) and surrounding areas who are recruiting Primary Teachers to work on both day‑to‑day supply and longer‑term assignments across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days and longer‑term placements, including delivering engaging, curriculum‑led lessons, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment, and supporting pupils’ academic and social development. For day‑to‑day supply, no lesson planning is required, with clear guidance and resources provided by schools.

Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within a UK primary school setting (KS1 and/or KS2)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons
- Knowledge of the primary national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
