About the Role

Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Hucknall (NG15), who are recruiting Primary Teachers for both day‑to‑day supply and longer‑term assignments across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days and longer‑term placements. You will deliver engaging, curriculum‑led lessons, maintain a positive and structured learning environment, and support pupils’ academic and social development. For day‑to‑day supply, no lesson planning is required. Schools provide clear guidance and resources.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working within a UK primary school setting (KS1 and/or KS2)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons
  • Knowledge of the primary national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
