About the Role
Connex Education is recruiting Supply Teachers to work across primary schools in Littleover, Normanton, Sunny Hill, Peartree and the wider DE23 area from September 2026.
Schools are already planning for the new academic year, making this the ideal time to register and secure teaching opportunities ahead of September.
As a Supply Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, creating positive learning environments and supporting pupils to make excellent progress.
Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Person Specification
We’re looking for candidates who have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools or completing a UK teacher training placement.
- Confidence delivering engaging lessons and managing a primary classroom.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, adaptable approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
