About the Role
Connex Education is recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Derby City Centre, Darley Abbey, Chester Green and the wider DE1 area. Whether you’re looking for flexible day‑to‑day supply, a longer‑term placement, or planning ahead for September, we have opportunities to suit your availability. Roles are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with both full‑time and part‑time positions available.
Key Responsibilities

Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A flexible and professional approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
