Are you a passionate and creative Art teacher ready to inspire the next generation of artists? We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Art to join our dynamic secondary school team in Unsworth Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity — open to both newly qualified ECTs and experienced practitioners — to make a real impact in a supportive and well‑resourced school environment.

The Role

  • Teach Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons to all year groups
  • Manage classes of approximately 30 students, maintaining a positive and creative learning environment
  • Take full responsibility for lesson planning and marking, ensuring high‑quality feedback that drives pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, who will be deployed to support students with additional needs
  • Contribute to a vibrant and forward‑thinking Art department
