Connex Education is recruiting for a MFL Teacher to work full-time in a secondary school in the Durham Area.

The school is very popular within Durham and is currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out MFL lessons for key stages 3 and 4. The school offers a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for a MFL Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils' education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.

Assignment Details

This role will commence ASAP and will last for the remainder of the academic year.

Person Specification

  • Must be 21 and over.
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or PGCE in MFL or related subject from a recognized provider.
  • You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Have experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 MFL lessons across ability ranges.
  • Be passionate about instilling a love of MFL.
  • Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
