About the Role
Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in North Somerset? Connex Education is working in partnership with schools across the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT) to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teachers for opportunities starting in September 2026. We have a range of supply and long-term opportunities available, making this ideal for teachers who want consistency, flexibility, or a route into regular work with local schools. Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS
- Recent teaching experience, placements, or strong subject knowledge within Key Stage 1 settings
- Good understanding of the KS1 curriculum, phonics, assessment, and effective classroom practice
- A calm, positive approach to behaviour management and building engaging, inclusive learning environments
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a flexible approach to working across different school settings
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex Education
