About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school located in the Wavertree area of Liverpool.

This role will be helping to support a pupils with additional needs in the year group as part of a team.

Experience with ASD and challenging behaviour is essential.

This role is working every Thursday and Friday, 8:30-3:30. We will also have opportunities to increase your days and for permananet recruitment for the right candidate.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
  • GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
  • Experience in EYFS/KS1 would be an advantage
  • Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly ASD
