About the Role
Connex Education is working with specialist SEN provisions across Bristol and we are seeking qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our highly skilled team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multi-professional environment where pupils are placed at the centre of all learning and support. These roles are available across flexible supply, short-term and longer-term placements, depending on your availability and preference. The settings support children and young people aged 3 to 19 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), many of whom are at the early stages of communication and require highly individualised support.
We are looking for individuals who are energetic, patient and engaging, with the ability to build positive relationships and support pupils to become as independent as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with ASC and complex learning needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist in delivering tailored and highly differentiated learning activities
- Support communication, engagement, and emotional regulation
- Promote independence and life skills development
- Work collaboratively with the team
