About the role

Connex Education is partnering with a range of welcoming and high-achieving secondary schools across Leeds that are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams. In this role, you will support students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 assisting with classroom learning, delivering targeted interventions, and providing individual or small-group support where required. You will play an important part in helping students reach their potential by encouraging engagement, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting teachers in creating an effective learning environment. We are looking for reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic individuals who can build positive relationships with students and contribute to the wider success of the school community.

Assignment Details

These roles are available for 1 to 5 days per week, starting ASAP.

Person Specification

  • Experience working with young people aged 11-16 in a UK secondary school setting
  • Good communication and behaviour management skills
  • Understanding of classroom routines and the secondary curriculum
  • Organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic
  • Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
