Connex Education are supporting a number of mainstream Primary & Secondary Schools in Leeds in appointing SEND Support Assistants on a full time & part time basis.
About the schools
We work with a number of schools across the area where you will be required to support varying pupil abilities working in small groups and sometimes on a 121 basis mainly focussed on Literacy & Numeracy. The schools are looking for people who have experience of this in the past and are particularly keen to hear from applicants who have worked in schools before to assist the class teacher create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Assignment details
This role is long term and short term assignments starting ASAP (32.5 hours per week, term time only) until the end of the Academic year. The roles may continue further into September for the right candidate.

Person Specification
- Have experience of working in a classroom environment or similar setting
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- At least 3 months experience working with young people
