About the role:

Connex Education are supporting a number of mainstream Secondary schools in Leeds in appointing Cover Supervisors in various schools.

About the schools:

We work with a number of Secondary Schools that require ad hoc cover on a daily basis as well as longer term opportunities for the right person.

Assignment details:

  • These roles are short and long term (up to 32.5 hours per week, term time only) on an ongoing basis.
  • The Cover Supervisor roles offer an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a Secondary School setting.
  • The role includes covering various subjects and managing the behaviour in class while pupils continue on with work set from previous lessons.
  • It can be flexible around your availability and we’re keen to hear from people available from 1 day per week up to full time.

Person Specification:

  • Have experience of working in a classroom environment or similar setting.
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one.
  • At least 3 months experience with working with young people.
