Connex Education is supporting a mainstream primary school in Leeds in appointing a Behaviour Support Worker to work on a full-time 1-to-1 basis in this primary school.

This welcoming primary school prides itself on the community within the school. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will be supporting a pupil in Key Stage 2 in this multicultural school. The school is looking for someone with experience of working with SEMH children in any capacity who can help the class teacher create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Assignment details

  • This role is a long‑term assignment starting ASAP (32.5 hours per week, term time only).
  • It will continue until the end of the academic year, and may continue further into September for the right candidate.

Person Specification

  • Have experience of working in a classroom environment or similar setting.
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one.
  • At least 3 months experience with SEMH pupils.
  • Team Teach trained preferred but not essential.
