The Role
- Teach engaging and inspiring lessons within Upper Key Stage 2
- Plan, deliver and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
- Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school, including SATs where appropriate
- Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment expectations
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Commitment to raising standards and supporting every child to achieve their potential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
