Connex Education is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher who brings strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring students while also demonstrating patience, resilience, and compassion that are central to our school ethos. Our pupils benefit from small classes, personalised teaching, and a nurturing environment where they feel safe, respected, and able to thrive. The role starts asap and is a long term booking, potentially running till the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3, KS4, tailored to small groups and individual needs.
- Differentiating teaching to support students with social, emotional, and special educational needs (SEN).
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom that promotes confidence, curiosity, and positive behaviour.
- Use creative and practical approaches to make Science meaningful and enjoyable.
- Assess, mark, and provide regular feedback to track and improve student progress.

Role Requirements
- QTS – Qualified Teaching Status
- Previous experience working in Education is essential.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
