About the Role

Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across the Ilkeston (DE7) area, who are recruiting Supply KS2 Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days, including delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment, and supporting pupils’ academic and social progress. No lesson planning is required.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children aged 7–11 in a UK primary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons
  • Knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
