1. Recruitment Consultant – Primary or Secondary (Leeds)

Huddersfield Office – HD3 (Free Parking)

Salary

Up to £35k basic + uncapped commission

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter to take over a hot and established Primary & Secondary desk covering Leeds.

With over 25 active schools from last year and access to the Leeds Framework and other GCA Lot 1 & Lot 2 contracts, the opportunity for growth is excellent.

The role is office based 4 days per week with home working from Wednesday each week.

We’re looking for ambitious recruiters or sales professionals with a strong track record of developing relationships, winning business and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales / Business Development
  • New business generation activity – AM Mayhem, sales calls, spec calls, client visits and in line with business
  • objectives
  • Secure new clients each month to increase market share in line with branch and individual strategic
  • business plan
  • Identify, develop and secure Preferred Supplier Agreements (PSA)
  • Achieve weekly gross profit targets in line with minimum expectations and growth plan
  • Record activity levels on DTS to ensure effective monitoring and management of sales activity is achievable
  • Engage proactively and willingly with Central Sales Team in identification of MSP opportunities in schools
  • and MATs
  • Client Management
  • Service new and existing clients, review and identify their needs and tailor purposeful solutions to achieve
  • increased profitability and sustainable relationships
  • Qualify job specification / negotiate rates, and record accurate job descriptions
  • Maintain database records, showing that service levels are being achieved
  • Network internally and externally with clients, candidates and local authority contacts
  • Ensure awareness, compliance and agreement with standard Terms of Business for a Hirer of Temporary
  • Worker and Candidate Terms of Engagement
  • Candidate Generation & Management
  • Maintain and enhance database of candidates to achieve maximum utilisation levels keeping availability
  • list updated at all times
  • Widen applicant funnel via internet job posting, online CV searching, University fairs, etc.
  • Telephone Pre-screening of candidates, ensuring appropriate records and attraction methods are detailed
  • on the company database
  • Conduct comprehensive registration, interviews and onboarding of candidates
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates to ensure delivery of the highest levels of service, in line with key
  • performance indicators for your individual desk
  • Ensure margin management on each booking
  • Ensure CVs are of a suitable format and reflective of company standards
  • Provide all relevant information to candidates prior to assignments
  • Follow up calls to candidates on completion of assignments, recording all responses
  • All candidates to be cleared in 10 days from first contact (to DBS clearance)
  • Compliance & Other Requirements of the role
  • Ensure that all candidates meet the required standards of clearance, under current regulations, legislation
  • and company policies before deployment
  • Report all instances of misconduct, complaints or incidents in line with company policies and procedures
  • immediately
  • Be constantly aware of safeguarding requirements and KCSi E agenda including updates in legislation,
  • reducing child protection risks and company exposure
  • Carry out activities in an environment or co-operation, respect and confidentiality
  • Any other duties as required
