About the Role
Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiasticQualified Geography Teacherto join a large and growing secondary academy in Hucknall.
The successful candidate will join a school supporting students and will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across the relevant Key Stages. You will play an important role in supporting students to develop their geographical knowledge, understanding and wider skills, while creating a positive and purposeful classroom environment.
Planning and marking will be required as part of the role, alongside effective assessment and classroom management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Geography Teacher who is passionate about their subject, committed to helping students make progress and able to build positive relationships with young people.

Person Specification
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
- Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) proven by providing your Teacher Reference Number
- Experience of working as a teacher in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms since obtaining QTS.
- Full enhanced DBS certificate
- Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process
- The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teacher.
- A minimum of 2 school based references
