Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities within EYFS.
  • Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress and adapt activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
  • Encourage children’s curiosity, independence, and confidence.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children’s learning and development.

Job Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching within an EYFS or primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years curriculum.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident adapting to different school environments.
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
