About the Role
Connex Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to teach Geography. This is to work on a full time basis for one of our Secondary schools within the St Ralph Sherwin Trust. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive school environment.
The role is to start in November 2025 up to Christmas but may continue further. It is a part time role teaching KS3 & KS4.
Assignment Details
- November start – currently to Christmas with the possibility to extend further
- Part time on a 2 week rota: Wk A Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Wk B Monday to Thursday
- Opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners at a crucial stage in their development
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching the Geography curriculum (NQTs and ECTs are also welcome to apply)
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one
