The Role
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 1
- Plan, teach and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil progress
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote high standards of learning and behaviour
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
