About the Role
Are you a final‑year Primary Education student or newly qualified teacher ready to take the first step in your teaching career? Connex Education is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our team in primary schools in Runcorn, Widnes, Frodsham, Helsby, and Warrington. Whether you’re finishing your PGCE, School Direct, or SCITT programme this summer, or have recently been awarded QTS, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a variety of schools while receiving genuine flexibility, support, and a dedicated consultant by your side as you begin your career.
Assignment Details
- Daily supply cover — ideal for building confidence and getting to know different schools.

Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS — final‑year trainees are very welcome to apply.
- Experience teaching in primary schools (placements count).
- Good working knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
- Current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through Connex.
