Connex Education are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Design and Technology Teacher.

Location: Burton-on-Trent

Start Date: September 2026

Duration: 3 days per week (days flexible)

Salary: £150-£240 per day

Vacancy Details:

  • To work as a Cover Supervisor, supporting across all subject areas (where possible, aligning with the specialisms and experience of the successful applicants).
  • Ensuring that the pupils are provided with a safe working environment that allows them to learn effectively.
  • Completing lesson reviews that provide the returning staff member with information about the classes that have been covered.
  • Following and adhering to the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Teacher of Design & Technology.
  • 3 full days per week, days of the week negotiable with successful applicants.
  • Mainly responsible for teaching Resistant Materials, so experience and competency in handling machinery is mandatory.
  • Working with pupils ranging from 11 - 16.
