About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming Primary Schools in the Sinfin (DE24) area, who are recruiting KS1 Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. This role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days, including delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment, and supporting pupils’ academic and social progress. No lesson planning is required.

Assignment Details

Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children aged 4–7 in a UK primary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
