Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools Bristol £120–£160 per day (depending on experience) September 2026 Start Weekly PAYE Pay Are you looking for a rewarding role in education where no two days are the same? Connex Education is recruiting confident and motivated Cover Supervisors to work within secondary schools across Bristol and the surrounding area. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into lessons when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain focused on their work and maintaining a positive learning environment throughout the school day. Your Role Will Include • Leading lessons using work that has been prepared by teaching staff. • Monitoring student engagement and encouraging participation in learning activities. • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently. • Supporting students to remain on task and meet lesson objectives. • Following safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times. We're Looking For Candidates Who • Have experience working with young people, either in education, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar settings. • Possess strong communication and organisational skills. • Are confident leading groups of students in a classroom environment. • Can adapt quickly and build positive relationships with staff and pupils. • Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection. • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
