About the Role

As a KS3 Teacher, you will

  • Deliver engaging and personalised lessons across the Key Stage 3 curriculum.
  • Adapt learning to meet the individual needs of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other additional learning needs.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage pupils to re-engage with education.
  • Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment where pupils can develop both academically and personally.
  • Use effective assessment to monitor progress and celebrate achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals to provide holistic support for pupils.
  • Promote resilience, independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing through your teaching and daily interactions.

About You

We’re looking for teachers who

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour, or are eager to develop within specialist education.
  • Are calm, patient and resilient with excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Can build strong relationships based on trust, consistency and respect.
  • Are committed to inclusive education and believe every young person can succeed.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
